Edwardian Ostrich Boa
SOLD! Beautiful, Edwardian Era Ostrich Feather Boa….Lush Cocoa color with a hint of blush pink tones…..Thick and very full, with frilly curls that frame your face and soften the complexion. Vintage is early ‘Teens to 1920, although it fits in with your Victorian and early Edwardian attire as well. The ends are attractive silky braided tassels with knotted ends that add weight and drape, and can be tied or left to drape. This also can be worn more as a collar, wrapped around the neck with the tassels in back….The boa measures 46 inches long with the tassels, and the feather portion measures 27″.
This lovely feather boa ca also double as a hat trimming that can be added or removed to your large brim hat with ease, to give you instant Edwardian flair.
CONDITION is excellent..Fresh and clean, odor free, well stored…color is fresh and true, and there is no shedding when shaken. Tassels are very good…none missing ..some slight wear to the silk but not a detraction… A real Beauty!
